Tim Southee, the skipper of New Zealand praised India’s Jasprit Bumrah for his excellent services across all formats after he fully recovered from an major injury. Since then, Bumrah has marvelled everyone with his return to form after major surgery and being cooped up throughout practically all of 2022; maybe he is even better than before the injury.

As a result of this, Bumrah has shown himself to be versatile and able to adapt well regardless of situation which makes him an asset to any Indian squad. Southee’s comments attest to how much respect and admiration, Bumrah commands among rivals and colleagues alike making him one of the finest bowlers globally.

His incredible recovery serves as a motivation for athletes facing similar challenges demonstrating that difficulties can be overcome if one works hard enough and is committed.

Speaking at the Ceat Cricket Rating Award, Southee emphasized Jasprit Bumrah‘s tenacity and capacity to bounce back from such a big loss. Bumrah’s recent run of performances received particular recognition from Southee, who also emphasized the difficulties of playing in several forms and how hard it may be to maintain high standards in each.

“To be able to firstly bounce back from the major injury and come back, he’s even better than what he was beforehand…He seems to have been able to do that with ease as well…He’s probably more experienced, understands his game a bit more,” Southee said at Ceat Cricket Rating Award on August 21, Wednesday.

“We are just seeing a great version (of Bumrah) across all three formats. He’s brilliant across all three at the moment. I don’t think there’s anyone that he’s better in (better than him), he is tremendous across all three (formats),” Southee added.

Jasprit Bumrah‘s economy rate was especially impressive because it was the highest of all players who bowl more than 100 balls in a single men’s T20 World Cup. He became the first player to win Player-of-the-Tournament at a T20 World Cup—men’s or women’s—without registering a run thanks to his unwavering excellence.
