The T20 Women’s Cricket World Cup 2024 will have match no 13 between Bangladesh Women (BAN-W) and West Indies Women (WI-W) on 10th October at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
For the ninth T20 World Cup the team captained by Nigar Sultana has been quite successful. Hampshire Women’s team made a good start by thrashing Scotland Women by 16 runs in the initial match. The Bangladesh team could not achieve the set target of 119 runs in the last match played against the English women side and the match was won by the England women side by 21 runs. They have drawn at least two occasions and have been able to score two goals; what they need now is a win to enable them progress to the next round.
Similarly, women from the West Indies are also equally placed. The past champions also have two points after they were beaten by Proteas in their first match but went on to beat the Scottish team by six wickets. This they have to do in order to be able to move to the next round of the competition that the rematch will determine.

Who will win the match?
There should be a tough fight between Bangladesh Women and West Indies Women & 13 WOMEN T20 WORLD CUP 2024.
Sophia Dunkley Ariana King, Shamilia Connell, Afy Fletcher, Deandra Dottin, and Stafanie Taylor are some of the experienced players in the West Indies Women side with Hayley Matthews as team’s skipper. On batting and bowling side they seem to have a good balance which makes them favourite to emerge champions.
However, in their previous matches they showcased great performance specially in their current match against Bangladesh Women being led by Nigar Sultana. Challenges for West Indies are that Nahida Akter has the bowling capability and Sobhana Mostary has the issue in batting. The West Indies have the edge but a well managed preparation for Bangladesh may pull off an upset.
