Kohli’s Return to the Field
Kohli, who had missed the first ODI in Nagpur due to a right knee injury, made a comeback in the second match at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Replacing Yashasvi Jaiswal in the playing XI, Kohli managed to score five runs off eight balls before being dismissed by England’s Adil Rashid.
With this dismissal, Rashid became only the fifth bowler to dismiss Kohli 10 or more times in international cricket, joining the ranks of Tim Southee, Josh Hazlewood, Moeen Ali, and James Anderson. As Kohli looks to regain his form ahead of the Champions Trophy, starting on February 19, fans eagerly anticipate his performance in the upcoming matches.
