ICC Announces Additional Ticket Sales for India Matches and Semi-Final

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that additional tickets for India’s matches and the first semi-final of the upcoming tournament will be available for purchase.

According to the ICC’s announcement on Sunday, February 16, these tickets will go on sale at 12 pm Gulf Standard Time (GST) and 1:30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST). Cricket fans in India and around the world will have another opportunity to secure seats for the highly anticipated games featuring Team India.

India’s Tournament Schedule in Dubai

India is set to play all their group-stage matches in Dubai, beginning with their opener against Bangladesh on February 20. The team will then face their arch-rivals Pakistan in a highly anticipated clash on February 23. India’s final group-stage encounter will be against New Zealand on March 2.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which is hosting all of India’s matches, will also serve as the venue for the first semi-final on March 4. Limited tickets will be available for this knockout fixture, making it one of the most sought-after events in the tournament.

Final Ticket Sales and Team Preparations

The ICC also stated that ticket sales for the tournament final will commence after the conclusion of the first semi-final. If India wins the first semi-final, the final is expected to be shifted to Dubai, further heightening the excitement for Indian fans.

Meanwhile, the Indian team arrived in Dubai on Saturday, February 15, after a three-hour flight from Mumbai. Senior players, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, were among the first batch to land and received a warm welcome. Notably, India will not be playing any warm-up matches before the tournament, having gained momentum with a recent 3-0 ODI series win against England.
