[WATCH] Gautam Gambhir Seen Mouthing In Aggression As Smith Gets Out

Gautam Gambhir, head coach of the Indian Cricket team is known to be quite aggressive both on and off the field. Instances like his multiple fights with Virat Kohli comes to mind. One more such instance of Gambhir’s aggression was caught on camera today. The Indian coach was seen mouthing words aggressively as Mohammed Shami took the wicket of well set Steven Smith.

Shami bowled Smith when the Aussie skipper was batting all set and comfortably at 73. As Smith stepped out to play Shami and missed the ball’s line completely, a low full toss hit the stumps and sent him packing to the dressing room. Gambhir, in elation, mouthed a few words, which appear to be inappropriate words used to show aggressive emotions in Hindi.

Gambhir wasn’t likely cussing Smith and was just happy and pumped to see India get the dangerous wicket of Smith. Since the video of the moment was captured, it is now making rounds on social media platforms. Take a look at the video below.

Gautam Gambhir embodies the Delhi spirit of being aggressive and not worried about what the world will say about his attitude. The same shades of aggression are in Virat Kohli too. At least, the young Virat had a lot to say in situations like these. Regardless, this should not be blown out of proportion as Gambhir was still in the Indian dressing room when this moment was captured. He wasn’t trying to offend anyone nor directly abusing the Aussie players.

India eventually went on to win the match against Australia in a tight semi-final match. Now, it will either be South Africa or New Zealand that will face India in the finals. The finals of the Champions Trophy will now take place in Dubai as India has reached the finals and won’t travel to Pakistan. This will surely agitate some of the core Pakistan’s cricket fans who wanted to enjoy seeing the Indian cricket team at playing at their local ground.
