[WATCH]- Gautam Gambhir Departs For France Vacation With Family During IPL 2025

Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir has headed to France for a vacation with his family as IPL 2025 approaches. Unlike previous seasons, Gambhir will not be involved with any IPL team as a coach or mentor since he is now leading the national team.

With some free time until the IPL season concludes, Gambhir was seen at the airport with his wife and children, dressed casually in a black t-shirt, jeans, and shoes. Last year, he served as Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) mentor, guiding them to their third IPL title.

A video of Gambhir departing for France with his family was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).

His upcoming international assignment is the five-match Test series against England in England, beginning in June this year. Meanwhile, in IPL 2025, reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Kolkata on Saturday, March 22.

India secured the 2025 Champions Trophy title under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir

India clinched their first ICC title under coach Gautam Gambhir by winning the 2025 Champions Trophy. The Men in Blue remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, starting with a six-wicket victory over Bangladesh, followed by another six-wicket win against arch-rivals Pakistan.

In their final group-stage match, they defeated New Zealand by 44 runs, securing the top spot in the group with six points. India then overcame Australia in the semi-final with a four-wicket win before defeating New Zealand by the same margin in the final to claim the 2025 Champions Trophy.

With this triumph, India became the only team to win the Champions Trophy three times, having previously won in 2002 (joint winners) and 2013. After back-to-back Test series losses to New Zealand and Australia, this victory provided much-needed relief for both the Indian team and head coach Gautam Gambhir.
