Indian cricketer KL Rahul has officially joined the Delhi Capitals (DC) camp after being spotted at the team hotel in Visakhapatnam. The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off today, Saturday, March 22, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the tournament opener at Eden Gardens.
The elegant batter previously played for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), leading the team as captain during his three-year tenure from 2022 to 2024. However, LSG opted not to retain him ahead of the 2025 mega-auction. The 32-year-old was then secured by Delhi Capitals for ₹14 crore.
On Saturday, March 22, KL Rahul officially linked up with his new team and was seen arriving at the team hotel in Vizag. You can view the picture here:

The right-handed batter has an outstanding IPL record, featuring in 132 matches and amassing 4,683 runs at an impressive average of 45.46 and a strike rate of 134.60. His achievements include 37 half-centuries and four centuries, with his highest score being an unbeaten 132.
