While at the event, he asked for water, and when someone gently tossed a bottle toward him, he effortlessly caught it. Holding the mic in his hand, the 43-year-old joked about his catching skills still being sharp.

A short clip of the moment, along with his witty remark, has since gone viral online. Dhoni made his return to the field in IPL 2025 during Chennai Super Kings’ match against Mumbai Indians in Chennai on Sunday.
