[WATCH]- Virat Kohli Spotted Having A Chat With Dinesh Karthik At Boundary Line During The RCB vs DC Game

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) faced their second straight loss at home in the ongoing IPL 2025 season after losing to Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets. The team, led by Axar Patel, chased down the target of 164 runs with 13 balls to spare. For most of the Delhi innings, RCB looked like they had a chance to win.

But in the final few overs, KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs quickly turned the game in Delhi’s favour. Virat Kohli didn’t look happy with how things went in the last part of the match. During the 15th over of Delhi’s innings, which was bowled by Suyash Sharma, Kohli was seen having a serious and animated talk with Dinesh Karthik at the boundary.

Kohli was seen making gestures toward the RCB batting coach, possibly showing his frustration with the field placements made by captain Rajat Patidar or how the bowlers were giving away too many runs. For those who missed it, this chat happened right after Josh Hazlewood gave away 22 runs in the 15th over.

“This is an animated conversation with the coach Dinesh Karthik. He has to communicate this with captain Rajat Patidar in the middle. Rajat is the captain of this team. Virat Kohli can have a discussion with Dinesh Karthik. Still, he needs to speak to Patidar,” said Aakash Chopra during the Hindi broadcast of the fixture between Delhi Capitals and RCB.

“I think Virat Kohli is speaking about the last over where Josh Hazlewood conceded 22 runs,” said Virender Sehwag.

Flawless KL Rahul steals the show with batting brilliance

Right-handed batter KL Rahul came in at No.4 and played a brilliant unbeaten innings of 93 runs from 53 balls as Delhi Capitals chased down the target of 164. He built an unbroken 111-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Tristan Stubbs, who also stayed not out with 38 runs off 23 balls, helping Delhi win comfortably.

Earlier in the match, RCB scored 163/7 in their 20 overs. They looked on track for a big total, but the game turned when Phil Salt (37) was run out in the fourth over. Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Liam Livingstone failed to make an impact, but Tim David’s quick unbeaten 37 off 20 balls helped RCB go past 160.

With this result, RCB now sit third on the points table with 6 points from 5 games. Their next match is against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
