PBKS Bowlers Steal the Show
While KKR’s bowlers had done their job in the first innings, it was PBKS’s bowling unit that truly stole the spotlight. Yuzvendra Chahal and Marco Jansen delivered exceptional spells, breaking the back of KKR’s batting line-up. Chahal ended with figures of 4 wickets for 28 runs, while Jansen supported brilliantly with 3 for 17. Their disciplined and aggressive bowling left no room for KKR batters to settle or recover.
This win was especially significant for PBKS as they not only managed to defend the lowest total of the season but also completed a double over KKR—just a year after they pulled off the highest successful chase in IPL history.
