[WATCH] Yashasvi Jaiswal Teases Shubman Gill Over His Running Between The Wickets; Video Goes Viral

In a funny video that has now gone viral, Yashasvi Jaiswal playfully reminded Shubman Gill about his habit of risky running between the wickets. He jokingly asked the Indian captain to loudly remind him not to attempt a run. Jaiswal had earlier impressed with a brilliant 101 on Day 1 of the first Test against England.

He shared a crucial 129-run partnership with Gill after India lost KL Rahul and debutant Sai Sudharsan just before lunch. The pair showed great composure during their stand, with one noticeable highlight being their sharp running and clear communication between the wickets.

In the viral video, Jaiswal is seen telling Gill to firmly call “no” when needed, admitting that he instinctively sets off for a run the moment he makes contact with the ball.

“Haan, haan bolte rehana bas. Meri aadat hain aage jaane ki. Haan bas nahi nahi. Mereko zor se no boldo. Meri aadat hain lekein. (Please keep telling me. It’s my habit to move ahead. Just tell me loudly no but it is my habit.),” said Jaiswal to Gill.

A humorous moment unfolded when Shubman Gill loudly yelled “no,” leaving Yashasvi Jaiswal visibly frustrated as he believed there was an easy single on offer.

“Arre aajao yaar. Bhaiyya year,” said Jaiswal.
