[WATCH]- Arshdeep Singh Dismisses Travis Head For 6 In AUS vs IND Match

Arshdeep Singh made an instant impact on his return to India’s playing XI in the third T20I against Australia in Hobart on Sunday, November 2. The left-arm seamer struck in his very first over, removing explosive opener Travis Head, who managed only six runs off four balls. The breakthrough came on the fourth delivery of Australia’s innings.

Arshdeep delivered a length ball outside the off stump, which Head tried to loft over the infield. However, the ball moved away after pitching, causing him to mistime the shot high into the air. Suryakumar Yadav positioned himself perfectly at mid-off and completed a safe catch.

According to Cricbuzz, this was the third time Arshdeep has dismissed Travis Head in T20 cricket. You can watch the video here:

Arshdeep Singh Takes Two Early Wickets After India Choose To Bowl In 3rd T20I vs Australia

Arshdeep Singh delivered early blows after India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first in the third T20I against Australia. The left-arm pacer dismissed both Travis Head and Josh Inglis, with the latter departing for a single-digit score. At that stage, Australia were reeling at 14/2 after 2.3 overs, with skipper Mitchell Marsh and Tim David at the crease.

In terms of team changes, India made three alterations to their lineup — Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, and Arshdeep Singh came in for Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav, and Harshit Rana. Meanwhile, Australia made just one change, bringing in Sean Abbott in place of Josh Hazlewood, who was rested for the remainder of the series.

Australia hold a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series after securing a four-wicket win over India in the second game in Melbourne. The opening match in Canberra was washed out due to rain, with play halted after India had completed 9.4 overs.
