ICC’s New Tactic To Encourage PCB To Accept Hybrid Model For Champions Trophy: Report

With the T20 World Cup 2026 just days from getting underway, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the official anthem for the marquee tournament. Titled ‘Feel the Thrill’, the song has been composed by well-known Indian musician Anirudh Ravichander.

With this, Anirudh becomes the latest Indian music director to create the official theme for a home World Cup, joining the likes of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, who composed the anthem for the 2011 ODI World Cup, and Pritam, who did so for the 2023 edition.

“A song made for the biggest stage. The wait is over. The magic is here. Presenting the Official Event Song of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Feel it. Sing it. Live it.”

Meanwhile, 20 teams will go head-to-head for the ICC title this year. The tournament will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, with India coming in as the defending champions.
