Fourteen-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi recreated the viral ‘final match you perform’ reel with Harvansh Pangalia after India defeated England in the U-19 World Cup 2026 final. The title clash took place on Friday, February 6 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
After choosing to bat first, India piled up a massive 411/9 in their 50 overs, powered by a breathtaking knock from Vaibhav, who smashed 175 off just 80 deliveries, laced with 15 fours and 15 sixes. Chasing the daunting target, England were bowled out for 311, with RS Ambrish claiming three wickets to help India secure a commanding 100-run win.
As India celebrated their sixth U-19 World Cup triumph, Harvansh was seen in a video asking Vaibhav:
“Final match you perform, what happening?”
The opener then responded with a hilarious remark:
“Nothing, we won the match, that’s happening. That’s the important thing, we won.”

“Fast-Track Him Into The Team” – Former India Spinner On Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Vaibhav Suryavanshi emerged as the standout performer of the U-19 World Cup 2026, piling up 439 runs in seven innings at an average of 62.71 and a blistering strike rate of 169.49, with three half-centuries and a hundred to his name.
Impressed by the young opener’s exploits, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh suggested that he should be fast-tracked into the senior Indian side for the upcoming tour. Sharing his views in a video on his YouTube channel, Harbhajan remarked:
“We saw him in the IPL as well, explosive batting, there he wasn’t playing against Under-19 teams there. He is an incredible player. I think for the next India tour, be it ODIs or T20s, he should definitely be included. Imagine a team with Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Jaiswal, it would be an amazing team! And in 2027, there’s the 50-over World Cup, another huge opportunity. Such young, hungry talent should definitely be played.”
“The Olympics are also coming in 2028, and I believe these players deserve opportunities. Vaibhav is already doing big things at such a young age. I won’t compare him to Tendulkar, no one can be like him, but Vaibhav has immense talent and is ready for international cricket. And I think he should be fast-forwarded into the team. I hope that once he turns 15 on March 27, he gets a chance to play for India,” he added.
