Star batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi launched a Dhoni-style helicopter six during the U-19 World Cup 2026 semi-final between India and Afghanistan, being held in Harare on Wednesday, February 4. On the first ball of the tenth over of India’s chase, Suryavanshi sent Nooristani Omarzai’s delivery soaring over the boundary.
The ball, almost a yorker in length, was expertly flicked with a helicopter shot. The left-hander positioned himself perfectly, raising his front leg to get under the ball and strike it powerfully. With a high back-lift and precise wrist work, he dispatched the ball over the leg side for a spectacular six.
