The match victory was achieved through Romario Shepherd’s 17th over performance, which resulted in a hat-trick of wickets. He achieved his five-wicket haul by dismissing Matthew Cross, Michael Leask, Oliver Davidson, and Safyaan Sharif.

The West Indies reached 182 runs for five wickets after Shimron Hetmyer scored 64 runs from 36 balls. He scored important runs with Sherfane Rutherford, who made 26 runs and Rovman Powell, who scored 24 runs. Scotland lost both of their opening batsmen, Brandon McMullen and Michael Jones, during the initial stages of their chase.

Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd contained Scotland’s scoring by bowling effectively, while Holder dismissed captain Richie Berrington, who scored 42 runs.
