After his record-breaking performance in the T20 World Cup 2026, Ishan Kishan was spotted warmly engaging with fans at the Indian team hotel in Delhi on February 12, 2026. The dynamic wicketkeeper-batter took time to connect with supporters, sharing a touching moment with children and posing for a photo with an enthusiastic fan.

This fan interaction came on the heels of India’s dominant 93-run win over Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where Kishan blazed his way to an unbeaten 61 off just 24 balls, setting a new record as the highest-scoring Indian wicketkeeper in T20 World Cup history, surpassing MS Dhoni.

India Dominate Namibia By 93 Runs With Ishan Kishan In Top Form

Sent in to bat, India posted a commanding total of 209 for 9, powered by Ishan Kishan’s explosive 61 off just 24 balls and Hardik Pandya’s quickfire 52 from 28 deliveries. Kishan’s innings was highlighted by aggressive and confident strokeplay, especially through the leg side, as he took charge of the Namibian bowling attack.

Commenting on the knock, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan noted that Namibia struggled to bowl to Kishan in the right areas, which allowed him to dominate freely.

“He plays the short ball really well and has a lot of time. Most of his runs came on the leg side, which is his strength. Namibia’s bowlers didn’t force him to play enough on the off side, and he took full advantage,” Pathan said during JioHotstar’s ‘Match Centre Live’.

Namibia got off to a promising start, reaching 57 for 1 in the Powerplay, but India’s spinners quickly seized control of the game. Varun Chakravarthy bowled a match-turning spell, taking 3 wickets for just 7 runs in two overs, while Axar Patel (2/20) and Hardik Pandya (2/21) maintained relentless pressure throughout.

The Namibian innings eventually folded for 116 in 18.2 overs. With two wins from as many matches, India top Group A on net run rate, level on points with Pakistan. The two teams are set to face off on Sunday in a highly anticipated clash.
