Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar reached Lucknow ahead of Lucknow Super Giants’ IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans. The match will be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday afternoon, April 12.
Sara was seen at the airport with her sister-in-law Saaniya Chandhok. While she was walking towards the exit, a fan asked her which team she would support in the match. She just smiled after hearing the question. Even though the fan asked again a few times, she chose not to reply.

Arjun Tendulkar, Sara Tendulkar’s brother, is part of the Lucknow Super Giants squad this season. He was moved from Mumbai Indians in an all-cash deal worth ₹30 lakh before the IPL 2026 auction. However, he hasn’t played any match this season yet. The left-arm fast bowler has taken three wickets in five IPL matches so far, with an economy rate of 9.36.

Rishabh Pant’s Lucknow Super Giants started their season with a six-wicket loss against Delhi Capitals. They then made a comeback by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in their next match. Lucknow then played an away game against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 9 and pulled off a memorable three-wicket win.
They chased down a target of 182 runs on the last ball of the match. Uncapped batter Mukul Choudhary was the star of the match. He scored an unbeaten 54 runs off 27 balls, hitting seven sixes and two fours. In the final over, when Lucknow needed 13 runs from five balls, he smashed two sixes off Vaibhav Arora.
Ayush Badoni also played a great knock, scoring 54 runs off 34 balls. At that point, Lucknow were fifth on the table with four points and a net run rate of -0.359.
