The 11th over of the SRH innings proved to be costly for the side as they lost two wickets in the same over. MS Dhoni handed the ball to Piyush Chawla, who first dismissed David Warner on the fifth delivery of his over caught by Faf Du Plessis in the long-on boundary. In the very next ball, SRH lost Kane Williamson via a run-out.
The run-scoring has significantly dipped since the wickets of Warner and Williamson. The wicket of Manish Pandey (29) also was a big blow to the Sunrisers. He looked the aggressor along with Warner at the other end.
Kane Williamson Left Stranded As Ambati Rayudu Runs Him Out
Williamson misjudged a single as Priyam Garg, his batting partner at the other end, did not respond to his call. Ambati Rayudu fielding at covers was quick to release the ball as CSK skipper MS Dhoni ripped the bails off in no time.
Kane Williamson was miles away and looked completely disappointed with the youngster.

Kane Williamson’s dismissal also means that the SRH lower-middle order has been exposed once again. Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma are batting at the moment with the SRH coming to a close.
CSK, meanwhile, are coming into this game after a six-day gap. They lost two back to back games against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals before the break.

They have made some hard thinking in the meantime in jotting down a side with proper team combination. CSK were marred by injuries early on in the season. Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo missed the first three games due to injury. Rayudu missed CSK’s next two after a match-winning performance in the IPL 2020 opener.
In the 12 matches played between the two teams, CSK has the wood over the Orange Army. The Men in Yellow have nine games while SRH has won just three. Moreover, in the last five meetings between the two sides, CSK has won four games.
CSK are currently at the bottom of the points table after losing two games back to back before their six-day gap in the tournament.
