Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma will return back to India from Dubai and will not travel to Australia as per reports. Now, it has been reported that Rohit will travel to Australia separately and will not be a part of the Indian bio-bubble that has already been established in the UAE. He will have to pass a fitness Test under the supervision of Team India physio Nitin Patel and only if he passes that will he be allowed to travel down under.
Rohit Sharma’s fitness is a long-standing debate in Indian cricket at the moment. He missed four games for Mumbai due to a hamstring injury and then played the last league game with his injury to spark fitness concerns. However, Rohit himself said that he was fully fit.

Rohit Sharma to Return India From Dubai
A BCCI official said that Rohit will return to India and will be allowed to travel if he passes the fitness Test.
“Rohit won’t travel to Australia unless he clears a fitness Test conducted by Team India physio Nitin Patel. Unless Patel and the National Cricket Academy declare him fit, Rohit is not going to Australia,” said a source in the BCCI.
The Source further said that MI players who will travel to Australia have joined the bubble in Dubai. Doing so they have missed the post-match celebrations with Mumbai Indians. BCCI earlier warned Australia bound Indian players to not join in post-match parties.
“The last batch of players came in after the final on Tuesday night. Those who were part of the MI unit did miss out on celebrating the win with the rest of the boys at the team hotel, but they can always celebrate after returning from national duty,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Indian skipper Virat Kohli will miss the last three Test matches against Australia as he will be on paternity leave for the birth of his first child.
