Ishan Kishan ended as the highest run-getter for Mumbai Indians in their memorable title-winning campaign. They won their fifth IPL title inside 8 years since they won their first in 2013. Rohit Sharma adds one more IPL title to his name as now he has won the IPL title for the record fifth time.

Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has hailed the Jharkhand-born cricketer after a record-breaking season. Ishan Kishan ended the season with 516 runs from 14 matches at an average of 57.33.

Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter to congratulate Mumbai Indians on their fifth IPL title. He had a special mention for Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in his tweet.

“Congratulations @mipaltan by far the best team in the #ipl, @ImRo45 captains knock in the final! Heart goes out to @DelhiCapitals had an outstanding tournament! @ishankishan51 special very special player in the making” wrote Yuvraj in his tweet.

Mumbai Indians topped the league stage with 18 points. They beat Delhi Capitals four times in this IPL including the final to show their dominance throughout the tournament.

Mumbai Indians won their previous four titles in odd years (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019). Winning it in 2020, they have broken the jynx and proved that they are the best T2 team in the world.

The have the maximum number of titles among the most successful IPL franchises all around the globe.

Mumbai have three of their top-order batsmen scoring over 450 runs this season, out of which two were uncapped Indian players. Both Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav scored over 450 runs to just highlight the batting depth and power of the Mumbai Indians.

Kishan also hit 30 sixes in this season which was the most hit by any player in the season.

“I wasn’t looking in good shape at the start of this season, so I had a good chat with Hardik bhai and Krunal bhai, I wanted to work on my fitness, just keep working on my off-side game. Wanted to do what was good for the team with the bat and score big runs” Kishan spoke on his fitness.
