Team India are on an eight-match winning streak as they get ready to face Australia in the second T20I in Sydney. Ahead of the game, former Aussie spinner Brad Hogg has hailed the Virat Kohli-led side as the best T20 international team at the moment. He also believes that the Indian team are strong contenders to win the next edition of the T20 World Cup next year. India will be the hosts of the event as well.

Meanwhile, the reason why Hogg hails India as the best T20 side is because of their number six and seven. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are the team’s current number six and seven and Hogg feels that the duo should bat at the same positions in the mega event.

“If you are going to win the T20 World Cup, your No. 6 and No. 7 batsman are the most vital cogs in your batting line-up. Because they are the ones that are going to finish off an innings like Jadeja and Pandya do quite often.”

“That is the advantage that India have over all the other teams. They have the best No. 6 and No. 7 in T20 cricket. So, India should not change their batting line-up,” Brad Hogg said on his YouTube channel.

India A Better T20 Team: Brad Hogg

Brag Hogg analysed the performance of the two teams in his vlog. He said that India is a better all-round team than Australia and has more depth than their opposition.

“India last night were too good for Australia, they are the better T20 team. They have got a wonderful outfit. They have got batting depth as well as quality bowlers. If Australia have got an advantage it is in the bowling department, but India across the board are sensational” said Hogg.

Meanwhile, both teams have injury concerns ahead of the next game on Sunday. While Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the next two games, Aussie skipper Aaron Finch is also uncertain to get game after picking up a hip injury while fielding in the Indian innings.
