Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj experienced racial abuse from the Australian crowd on day 3 of the Sydney Test. The team India management has now officially launched a complaint about two of their players facing racial abuse at SCG. It is believed that the Aussie crowd said nasty things even on day 2 and the management finally lodged a complaint after the end of today’s play.

The SCG Test match between India and Australia is incomplete with any controversy. The Symonds-Harbhajan incident at SCG is still talked about but this time the crowd is at fault as both Siraj and Bumrah faced racial abuse.

“In another instance, while the match was still continuing, Indian staff walked around behind where Bumrah was standing in the outfield and spoke to the star quick”.

Furthermore, reports further indicated that both Bumrah and Siraj spoke to security officials before leaving. Umpires and match referee David Boon also walked past India’s rooms at Sydney Cricket Ground. The ICC is now likely to investigate the issue until further notice.
