Dale Steyn has hailed James Anderson after he was being compared to the England fast bowler. Anderson silenced his critics after he picked 3 crucial Indian wickets on day 5 of the Chennai Test match. The 38-year-old bowler used reverse swing to full effect and bowled like a genius and helped England win the Test by 227 runs against India.
After his match-winning performance, his record in Asia was being compared with Dale Steyn. The two are undoubtedly the greatest fast bowlers of their generation and have performed in almost every country. Steyn slightly has a better asway record which is why a majority of the cricket enthusiasts rate him ahead of Anderson.

Meanwhile, the two great fast bowlers have always shared a mutual admiration for each other. Anderson has always admired Steyn whereas the South African has always admitted that Anderson is most skilful fast bowler he has played against. The rivalry between the two was fascinating to see during the early 2010s as they kept raising the bar for fast bowlers all around the world.
