It’s all happening in IPL 2021 again as the Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant took a remarkable diving catch to dismiss Jos Buttler. Early in the run chase, Buttler was looking to dominated his countryman Chris Woakes. Buttler knew he will be looking to swing the ball and tried countering it by coming out of the crease and shuffling outside off stump. However, Woakes was unfazed and bowled a back of length delivery which seamed after pitching and cut Buttler in half.
Rishabh Pant Takes A Spectacular Diving Catch To Remove Jos Buttler
The ball kissed the inside edge of Butler’s bat and the ball went flying to Pant behind the stumps. The DC skipper was fast and sprang to his left and took a sensational catch to remove the best batsman of the Rajasthan Royals.
The entire DC side knew the importance of that catch as Pant grabbed the tough chance and sent Buttler packing early in his innings which could prove to be a game-changing moment. The RR opener could only score 2 from 7 deliveries and DC are now right back in the game. Here’s how Rishabh Pant took a spectacular diving catch to end Buttler’s stay at the crease.

Meanwhile, in the first half courtesy of a counter-attacking 51 runs by Pant his side posted a competitive total of 147 for 8. Now in reply RR are currently struggling and are 20 for 3 in the 5th over with David Miller and Shivam Dubey at the crease.
