Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma is winning a million hearts with his gesture towards the environmental issues. In the past, Rohit has worked with many organisations including the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), for the development of a healthy environment. Rohit has caught attention with his captaincy skills in the recent past.
But in the Indian Premier League 2021, Rohit is drawing the attention of the fans by wearing shoes that have messaged related to environmental issues printed on them. After voicing his opinion on clean and safe oceans and save the rhino campaign, Rohit Sharma came up with another social message.

After their previous game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rohit briefed about his yesterday’s shoes on Instagram. This time Rohit requested the fans to save the corals.
“Our reefs are the heart and souls of our oceans. Nothing makes me happier than a healthy reef. My love for the ocean cannot be put into words and saving it will forever be my cause. I was afraid of the ocean at the start but as I learned more about it and all the amazing marine life it houses and the massive role it plays in our survival, I fell in love instantly,” Rohit Sharma wrote.
In his message, Rohit urged people to amend their behaviors for the betterment of nature. Being vocal about environmental issues, Rohit said that protecting the oceans will only secure our future.
“Even the tiniest change in our mindset, in our activities, or in our understanding of what we can do to help will have a massive ripple effect on our environment. Protecting our oceans means protecting our future,” the MI skipper added.
