The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is only a week old, and within a short period, IPL has produced many exhilarating moments. IPL is experiencing caravan format for the maiden time, the teams can not exhaust home advantages. The teams are playing all their games at neutral venues.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India have selected six such neutral venues, and one of them is the Chepuk Stadium in Chennai. The stadium is one of the buzzing venues in the IPL 2021. After yesterday’s match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, the flare of the match was seen on Twitter also. During SRH’s run chase, the Orange Army were halted by MI, despite having a valiant start.

The continuous falling of wickets broke their backbone. Eventually, David Warner and co lost the match by 13 runs. This was not the first time when SRH lost their nerves while chasing targets. In their three matches, the story has been repetitive. They slid down against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in a similar fashion.

Virender Sehwag comes up with a hilarious post

As the stories of collapsing at Chepauk are no more exclusive, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag shared a hilarious message on Instagram. His message has done justice in describing the situation at Chepauk while chasing. The netizens could not agree more with the veteran.

“Teams trying to chase in Chennai”, Sehwag captioned a picture on Instagram. The picture shows a bunch of distressed guys.

SRH skipper, David Warner also sounded perplexed while talking about yesterday’s failure at Chepauk. “I don’t know how to take that. Obviously disappointing. Two of us [David Warner and Jonny Bairstow] were set but it proves that if you don’t bat deep, you can’t win. If you get a partnership and if there is one person at the end, you can chase it down. These scores are very chase-able, it’s just poor batting,” he said after the match.
