Yuzvendra Chahal’s better half Dhananshree Verma had happy tears in her eyes when he picked a wicket against KKR. Before the match, Chahal had been going for plenty of runs and many believed he was past his prime.

However, the RCB spinner once again showcased his wicket-taking ability when he dismissed in-form Nitish Rana at a crucial stage in the match. Chahal flighted the delivery outside off and Rana badly mistimed the slog sweep and hold out at mid-wicket.

Dhananshree Verma Gets Emotional 

Yuzvendra Chahal was ecstatic and so was his wife Dhananshree as she got emotional after the wicket. Dhananshree who is always cheering for RCB and Chahal is again in the stands and looked proud of her husband when he provided the breakthrough.

It hasn’t been a good few months for Chahal with the ball but that wicket would have done his confidence a world of good. The cameras captured Dhananshree Verma with her eyes moist and applauding Chahal for his wicket as she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Post that Chahal looked a completely different bowler against a strong KKR batting lineup. He trapped Dinesh Karthik right in front and picked his second wicket of the match. Meanwhile, Chahal currently has figures of 2 for 14 after 3 overs. KKR are at the current stage are 85 for 4 after 10 overs while chasing a target of 205 runs. The RCB spinner will be hoping to pick another wicket in his final over and seal the match for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
