The head coach of team Australia Justin Langer has praised Australian pacer Mitchell Starc. Justin even referred to Starc as the best white-ball bowler in the world. Justin Langer also further added that the left-arm pacer is the best death bowler in the world.

Notably, Mitchell Starc participated in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series between Australia and West Indies. Also, Starc won the Player of the Series award in that series. Mitchell Starc scalped 11 wickets in three-match series to help Australia win the series by 2-1 in Barbados.

Ahead of traveling to Bangladesh, head coach Justin Langer praised Starc for his performance against West Indies. He asserted:

“I think Mitchell Starc is the best white-ball bowler in the world. He bowls upfront, swings the ball. Starc is the best bowler at the death in the world. He is great to have in our team. The combination with him and Josh Hazlewood is a real plus for us.”

The star speedster Mitchell Starc started the West Indies series with a bang. The left-arm pacer took a five-wicket haul in the first ODI game followed by a 3 wicket hauls in the next 2 ODIs. Starc’s performance was a crucial one for the team as many big names like David Warner, Steve Smith, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, and Marcus Stoinis were not present in the team.

Mitchell Starc is all set to participate in the Australia tour of Bangladesh

Although Mitchell Starc performed exceptionally in ODI his T20I performance was not very good. Starc represented Australia in four T20I matches against West Indies and only picked one wicket. Also his average and economy were very poor. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc would love to improve his performance in the Australia tour of the Bangladesh 5-match T20I series.

The Australia tour of Bangladesh is all set began on August 3 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.
