Bangladesh cricketers Mohammad Naim and Shamim Hossain displayed a great tag-team effort to take a brilliant catch near the boundary ropes. It happened during the third and final T20I between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
The series stands level at 1-1 after Zimbabwe put up a strong all-round display to beat the visitors. The third was the decider and Zimbabwe opted to bat first after winning the toss. They got off to a flier courtesy of a 63-run partnership inside the powerplay between openers Tadiwanashe Maramani and Wesley Madhevere.
Although the latter was soon knocked over, Madhevere was joined by Regis Chakabva. Zimbabwe continued to steamroll before a stunning effort in the field. The magical moment came in the 12th over bowled by Soumya Sarkar. To a widish delivery outside off-stump, Chakabva slog-swept uppishly towards deep square leg.
Mohammad Naim ran towards his left and held on to the ball before realizing the momentum was taking him over the ropes. He was quick-minded and threw the ball back into play where Shamim Hossain dived and grabbed the ball to complete the stunning catch.

The tag-team effort between Naim & Shamim brought Bangladesh back into the game
Zimbabwe was racing away to a humongous total around the halfway mark. Chakabwa had struck six sixes in his 22-ball 48, before the turning point in the game. While Madhevere kept going for a bit longer, the other batsmen gave in.
From a position of strength at 122/1, Zimbabwe stumbled to 146/4. A late resurgence from in-form Ryan Burl saw the minnows scamper through to 193 in their stipulated overs. Chasing the target, Bangladesh was propelled by Soumya Sarkar’s half-century.
In the latest update, the Tigers had reached 154/4 in 16 overs. They required 40 runs from four overs, with skipper Mahmuduallah anchoring the chase.
