Reportedly, The head coach of Team India Ravi Shastri is planning to part ways with the team. It’s highly unlikely that Shastri will continue as Head coach after ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Notably, his contract is expected to end during the same time. Alongside Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and batting coach Vikram Rathore are also likely to part ways with Team India.
According to reports of Indian Express, Shastri has informed BCCI board members that he will not continue. While the other staffs are already in talks with the IPL teams. Notably, Ravi Shastri had a great run as Head Coach.

Rahul Dravid front-runner to replace Ravi Shastri
Talking about his replacement Rahul Dravid remains the fan-favorite to become the head coach of Team India. Dravid has a lot of coaching experience under his belt. Also, he was head coach of team India in the recent India tour of the Sri Lanka series.
When Dravid was asked about taking the role of head coach after the Sri Lanka series he asserted:
“I have enjoyed this experience. I have not really thought of anything far ahead. To be honest with you, I am happy doing what I am doing.
“For me, I have not given it any other thought except this tour and getting through this tour and enjoying the experience. I love working with these guys, it’s pretty great. And no, I haven’t given it any thought really. You know, there are a lot of challenges doing a full-time role so I really don’t know,” he added.
