Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Moeen Ali was greeted with CSK CSK chants when he was fielding at the boundary during the ongoing Test between India and England at the Oval. The incident took place on day 2 of the Test match at the fag end of the day.
Seeing Ali fielding in the boundary, some fans shouted ‘CSK CSK’. Moeen Ali even responded to the fans waving hands at them on Friday.

Meanwhile, Moeen Ali joined CSK ahead of IPL 2021 when the franchise roped him during the auction. He was an immediate success scoring 206 runs from six matches and picking up five wickets.
Based on his superb run with both bat and ball, CSK find themselves in the 2nd spot after Delhi Capitals with 10 points under his belt from seven outings. They will begin their campaign in the 2nd phase of IPL 2021 against defending champions Mumbai Indians on September 19.

Team India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul closed in on England’s first innings score as they ended Day 2 at 43/0 at the Oval on Friday. The visitors still trail by 56 runs after England secured a crucial 99-run lead in the first innings.
Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav gave India a breathtaking start, removing the overnight batsmen quickly. At 62/5, India had their tail up but Ollie Pope showed exemplary resistance with Jonny Bairstow and then Moeen Ali.
Although Pope got out for a well-made 81, Chris Woakes wagged with the tail to give the hosts a handy 99-run lead. Woakes a made a merry on a flat deck, scoring a half-century before India bowled out England for 290 runs.
