MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings defeated KKR by 27 runs with a dominant performance in the IPL 2021 final. The newly crowned champions had another reason to celebrate after their landmark victory as it was pacer Shardul Thakur’s 30th birthday on Saturday. Thakur played a key role in Chennai Super Kings’ title win as his spell in the middle overs totally changed the game in favour of CSK.
