The bromance between Indian captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers is well known on and off the field. AB de Villiers announced his retirement today and he will be missed by everyone. Virat Kohli was extremely sad and wrote an emotional message on social media.
“To the best player of our times and the most inspirational person I’ve met, you can be very proud of what you’ve done and what you’ve given to RCB my brother. Our bond is beyond the game and will always be. This hurts my heart but I know you’ve made the best decision for yourself and your family like you’ve always done. I love you @ABdeVilliers17,” Kohli posted on his Twitter handle.

It is certainly the end of an era for RCB as Virat Kohli has stepped down as captain and their star ABD has now announced retirement. AB de Villiers has left us all emotional after his retirement. His batting prowess is something that the generations to come will be inspired by. ABD never failed to impress us and bailed his team out many times be it RCB or South Africa.
He has left a huge hole and will certainly be missed. His ability to play shots all around the park earned him the nickname Mr. 360. AB de Villers is and always will be the legend of the game. Wishing him a Happy Retirement!.
