Former Australian speedster Brett Lee might have retired from international cricket a decade ago but he can still send down the odd thunderbolt of a delivery. The World Cup winner recently crashed his son’s stump with a toe-crushing yorker.

A footage of Brett Lee showing absolutely no mercy on his son Preston in a game of cricket out the front of a house has gone viral on the internet. In a video posted by Lee’s older brother Shane, Brett Lee can be seen bowling to his son.

He casually walked up to the bowling crease before uprooting his son’s timber with a peach of a delivery and in the process almost caught his son’s foot.

Watch the clip here:

Brett Lee was clearly pleased with his bowling efforts jogging towards Preston and raising his finger in the air. He even pulled his son’t leg on the comment box on Instagram.

“Oh yeh !!!!! Pack your bags Presto”, along with a cry-laughing emoji.

The 45-year-old former fast bowler has represented Australia in 76 Tests, 221 ODIs, and 25 T20Is, claiming a total of 718 international wickets. Brett Lee retired from Tests in 2008 as the country’s sixth-highest wicket-taker in Tests, and in 2012 from ODIs as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 380 scalps tying with the great Glenn McGrath.

Following his retirement from all forms of cricket, Lee chalked out a career in broadcasting, serving as commentator and expert in big cricketing tournaments such as the BBL, and IPL.
