#5 Can bat, bowl, field and even dance !!
India and West Indies faced each other in the 2016 T20 World Cup Semi-Final at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Veteran Bollywood Star Anil Kapoor was also present in the stands. Popular song- ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ from his movie ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ was being played at the stadium.
Virat Kohli was fielding near the boundary in the third man area. When Kohli saw that Anil Kapoor was there in the stands, he immediately broke into actor’s signature dance step from the movie ‘Ram Lakhan’.
#4 “Shaam tak khelenge, toh …..”
This was one of the most popular Kohli moments used in memes on social media. During the second Test of India’s tour of South Africa in 2018, Kohli was caught on the stump mic saying to his batting partner Murali Vijay:
“Shaam tak khelenge, to inki G**nd* phat jayegi”. (If we play till evening, they will s**t their pants).
#3 Caribbean Calypso
Rain played spoilsport in the 1st ODI of India’s tour of West Indies, 2019. During one of the rain interruptions, then Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen shaking a leg to the tunes of the music played by the DJ at the ground.
Universe Boss ‘Chris Gayle’ later joined Kohli for some dance moves on the Carribean Music. Kohli was also spotted dancing with the groundstaff of the Providence Stadium, Guyana.

#2 Imitating Harbhajan Singh
India and Sri Lanka played a 3-Match T20I series in January 2020. Second match was scheduled to be held at Holkar Stadium, Indore.
Ahead of the game, Virat Kohli was seen hilariously imitating the iconic action of former India spinner Harbhajan Singh. Bhajji was a part of the expert panel with the broadcasters Star Sports during that time and he himself couldn’t stop laughing at the mimicry done by Kohli.
#1 Imitating Jasprit Bumrah
During the pink ball Test between India and Sri Lanka in 2022, at Bangalore, Kohli was seen imitating the bowling action of pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
It happened right before Sri Lanka’s first innings began. Other members of the team including Axar Patel, Shubman Gill and Bumrah himself were seen having a great laugh after Kohli’s act.
