Sanju Samson’s late flourish powers Rajasthan Royals to 222 runs

Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal opened the innings for Rajasthan Royals. Both the openers played conservative cricket by scoring just 25 runs in the first four overs. But it was just calm before the storm. Padikkal took the initiative and smashed Mustafizur Rahman for three consecutive boundaries in the fifth over. This brought the momentum towards RR. Devdutt played a fine knock of 54 runs in 35 balls.

The English wicket-keeper batter dominated the proceedings before skipper Sanju Samson‘s late flourish propelled Rajasthan Royals to 222/2 in 20 overs. Samson remained unbeaten on 46 runs off just 19 deliveries, including five boundaries and six towering sixes.
