Yuzvendra Chahal has been on a roll, setting social media platforms on fire, ever since he joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) after the IPL 2022 mega auction. On Wednesday, the veteran leg-spinner once again poked fun at the teammate Jos Buttler.

Chahal was recently seen fine-tuning his batting skills ahead of their game against Gujarat Titans (GT) later tonight. Before entering the nets, Yuzvendra Chahal had a funny exchange with RR skipper Sanju Samson and batter Shimron Hetmyer.

The Haryana-based cricketer had a good net session, hitting the balls from the middle of the bat. Moreover, the 31-year-old cricketer was seen imitating Ravindra Jadeja’s infamous ‘sword celebration’ while coming out of the nets.

Yuzvendra Chahal also had a funny exchange with star opener Jos Buttler, who sitting beside the net alongside Samson. The cricketer from England initially pulled Chahal’s leg on the latter’s inability to hit a six in the nets.

The Indian cricketer came back with a swift reply, asking whether Buttler was getting jealous of his batting. He said, “It is recorded here, why are you getting jealous if you are getting competition for the opener’s slot.”

Yuzvendra Chahal becomes second-fastest to 150 IPL wickets

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner has been in spectacular form with the ball in this season of the cash-rich league. He has already scalped 11 wickets in four matches at an average of less than 10. He is currently the Purple Cap winner with the highest wickets in IPL 2022 so far.

Yuzvendra Chahal scalped four wickets in their last outing against Lucknow Super Giants. During his player-of-the-match outing, Chahal scalped the milestone of being the second-fastest to 150 IPL wickets. Lasith Malinga, who is currently the bowling coach of the RR, was the fastest to achieve the feat.

Chahal will hope to continue the rhythm when Rajasthan take on Gujarat Titans later tonight at the DY Patil Sports Complex.
