Recently, in a video posted by the franchiseās official Twitter handle, star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was seen jokingly complaining about not getting enough chances to bat because of the Englishman. Yuzvendra Chahal is known to make hilarious comments and this was one of them. Earlier on, we had seen him comment that he and Jos Buttler should open the batting for Rajasthan Royals and no team would be able to handle them at all.
Jos Buttler’s records in IPL 2022
The English wicket-keeper batter has been one of the main reasons as to why the team is doing so well. Jos Butter has scored 499 runs in eight innings at an average of 71.29. The numbers speak for themselves and his batting prowess at the top helps the team massively and then the bowlers do their job.
Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal has also been in spectacular form in the ongoing IPL. He has already scalped 18 wickets in eight matches at an average of just over 12. The veteran leg-spinner has conceded at 7.09 runs per over.
Rajasthan have a long way to go but it’s surely only a matter of a couple of matches before they confirm their spot in the playoffs. Sanju Samson and Co are currently second in the points table with 12 points in eight matches, two points short of table-toppers Gujarat Titans.
