[Watch]- Umesh Yadav Takes Athletic ‘Caught & Bowled’ To Dismiss Prithvi Shaw

Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are facing each other at Wankhede stadium in the 40th match of the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to field first.

After being on bench in the last 2 IPL seasons, Umesh has been in amazing form in IPL 2022 for KKR. He continued his great form against Delhi Capitals when he dismissed Prithvi Shaw on the first ball of the run chase. Umesh took a brilliant athletic return catch off his bowling to send back dangerous Shaw.

Umesh bowled a fullish length ball on leg stump to Shaw. Prithvi tried to play the flick shot but he got a leading edge on the first ball of Umesh. Ball went towards the lower left side of Umesh. Yadav shifted towards left in his follow-through and dived forward to grab this amazing catch.

Everyone appreciated this athletic effort of Umesh. He has been the main bowler for KKR this season. At the time of writing, Umesh has 13 wickets in IPL 2022 at an amazing bowling average of 20. He also has an impactful economy rate of 7.4 in this IPL season.

Nitish Rana guides the way for KKR

After being invited to bat first, KKR had a poor start. Kolkata Knight Riders at one time was struggling at 85 for 6 in 14 overs. Kuldeep took 4 wickets which put KKR on backfoot. But Nitish Rana played an amazing knock of 57 runs in 34 balls which helped KKR score a total of 146 runs.

Earlier in the match, KKR made 3 changes to their playing XI. Aaron Finch, Harshit Rana, Baba Indrajith were included in the playing XI of KKR . While for Delhi Capitals, Mitchell Marsh and Chetan Sakariya replaced Sarfaraz and Khaleel Ahmed in the playing XI.
