Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are facing each other at Brabourne stadium in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL). This match is a crucial game for both of them to keep their hopes alive for top 2 position in points table. Both the teams are fighting for each and every run in the field.
On the first ball of the 13th over of LSG run- chase , Krunal Pandya played a lofted shot towards long-off on the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin. It looked like the ball would travel across the ropes. However, Jos Buttler and Riyan Parag teamed up to take a relay catch to dismiss Krunal who was looking dangerous.
The ball went a few metres to the right of Jos Buttler. Jos ran across and took the catch, but suddenly he realised that he might cross the boundary ropes. Buttler showed great presence of mind and threw the ball inside the ground just before losing his balance. Riyan Parag was also present at the same boundary line. He jumped in the air to complete the catch.

It was a perfect team effort from both of them to take such an amazing catch. Cricket fans appreciated this brilliant relay catch by Jos Buttler and Riyan Parag. Ashwin too was highly impressed with this fielding effort.
Rajasthan Royals stun Lucknow Super Giants to take the second spot
Defending 178 runs, Rajasthan Royals bowlers breathed fire in the powerplay. Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna bowled 3 successive overs each in tandem, taking out the entire Lucknow Super Giants top-order.
A partnership of significance followed from Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya, as the duo, looked to pick up the pieces. But Jos Buttler and Riyan Parag produced a stunning effort on the field to break the partnership. Since then, it was Rajasthan Royals. They nullified Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder to win the game by 24 runs.
Rajasthan have a pocketed a huge win. Not only it boosts their points table but has also helped their NRR. 16 points in the IPL is mostly the threshold point for a place in the top four. They haven’t confirmed a spot yet but have done enough damage for other teams to be losing sleep.
