Hardik Pandya played an impactful knock of.46 runs in 31 balls in the 4th T20I in Rajkot. Hardik has been in great form in this T20I series. Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik caught up for an interview with the BCCI website.
In the interview, Hardik revealed a crucial piece of advice which MS Dhoni gave him. The 28-year-old all-rounder said, “In my early days, I asked Mahi bhai one question. I asked him how he gets away from pressure, and he gave me some very simple advice — ‘stop thinking about your own score and start thinking about what your team requires.”
“From very early, that lesson has stuck to my mind and helped me become the kind of player I am now,” he added.

Dinesh Karthik also asked him how he has managed to adapt to different batting positions in the Indian team as compared to where he played in IPL for the Gujarat Titans. In reply to it , Hardik said:
“Nothing changes because I have started playing for the symbol which is on my chest, and I play the situation. I want to get better with time, and do it with the frequency I did for Gujarat.”

Hardik Pandya was also impressed with the fighting ability of Dinesh Karthik due to which he has been able to make a comeback in the Indian T20I team at age of 37. Dinesh Karthik had an amazing IPL 2022 season due to which he was selected in the Indian T20I team.
Karthik has been in brilliant form in the ongoing T20I series. Hardik Pandya said, “I remember when you were not even in the scheme of things, in the IPL, or a lot of people counted you out, I remember those conversations, you said you wanted to play for India again and play at the World Cup. It is genuinely inspirational, and I know a lot of people will learn new things.”
