#1 Running out the non-striker
Under the new rules, a bowler running out the non-striker for leaving the crease before the ball in bowled will now officially be called a run out. Previously it was known as Mankad and there were speculations about it. The new ruling, meanwhile, will bring about many big changes in cricket.
After a similar run-out by Indian bowler Deepti Sharma in the series against England, there were various discussions around the world. However, now that it is mentioned as a run-out, it is hoped that cricket lovers around the world will also consider it appropriate.
#2 Unfair movement from the fielding side
ICC has clarified in its new rules that now fielder cannot make any movement before the bowler bowls the ball. Many times in the past we have seen in international cricket that fielder change their positions before bowler bowls the ball.
A similar incident happened a few years ago in an ODI match between Pakistan and Australia. Australian player Steve Smith correctly guessed which shot the batsman was going to play and changed his position before the bowler bowled the ball. Even then there were many discussions about this incident.
#3 Additional fielder inside the circle
Perhaps the most significant change in the new ICC rules is the addition of an extra fielder in the circle. According to the new rule, if the captain does not complete his overs within a certain time, an extra fielder will have to be placed in the circle.
This also happened in the Asia Cup 2022 match between India and Pakistan. This is a very important change and can have a huge impact on the outcome of the match in the T20 World Cup in Australia.
#4 Batters returning when caught
Another important new ICC rule is that after a batter is dismissed, the new batter will be on strike. Due to this rule, many results were changed in IPL 2022, and it will definitely have a big impact in the T20 World Cup as well.
Many times in the past, if a batter was caught out and he crossed, the set batter would take the strike. But now due to this rule the new batter has to be on strike.
