England defeated Team India by 17 runs in the third T20I match at Trent Bridge on Sunday. However, the Indian team still managed to win the T20I series by 2-1. Suryakumar Yadav played a lone warrior knock in the last T20I and won the hearts of several cricket fans. Suryakumar scored the first century of his international career in the last T20I against England.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 117 runs in 55 balls in the third T20I against England. When Suryakumar Yadav came to bat, the Indian team was struggling at 13 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Surya in the starting 10 balls of his innings took time to settle in. But soon he started the counterattack on England bowlers.

Suryakumar Yadav didn’t spare any bowler. He hit them all around the park. Suryakumar showed a brilliant display of his 360-degree shots. After this amazing knock, a 10-years-old tweet of Rohit Sharma has gone viral on social media where he has called Suryakumar Yadav a player to watch out for.

Rohit Sharma in the tweet wrote, ” Just got done with BCCI awards here in chennai..some exciting cricketers coming up..Suryakumar yadav from Mumbai to watch out for in future!”. Fans were shocked to see that Rohit Sharma knew about the talent of Suryakumar Yadav in 2011 itself.

Rohit Sharma was in awe of the innings of Suryakumar Yadav last night. Rohit Sharma said, “We are proud of the fight. Surya was magnificent to watch. I have been watching him for a while now. Loves this format, has a wide range of shots. He has grown from strength to strength since we got him into the squad.”
