Abram Khan was really surprised when Shreyas Iyer got out during the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). His reaction became viral online.
During the match at Eden Gardens, Abram, Shah Rukh Khan, and their manager Pooja Dadlani were watching from the stands. KKR were batting, and they did really well. They scored a huge total of 261 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. AbRam was there when two KKR players, Sunil Narine and Phil Salt, were hitting the ball all over the place. Because of them, KKR got a great start and were on their way to a big score.
Shreyas Iyer, the captain of KKR, also played aggressively. He scored 28 runs from just 10 balls before he got out. It was a surprise because he was playing so well. Abram’s reaction to Shreyas getting out showed how shocked he was. Pictures of his surprised face spread all over the internet. People said that Abram’s love for KKR comes from his dad, Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of the owners of the team.

Abram wasn’t just surprised when KKR lost a wicket. He also cheered when PBKS lost one of their players, Prabhsimran Singh. This shows that he really gets into the game and supports his team, KKR, all the way.
Shreyas Iyer, KKR captain said after the game: I would have (taken 260 at the start of the day). The way the batters batted was tremendous to see, Sunny coming in.. the way Salt batted, they delivered and it was a treat for the eyes. Both the teams played tremendously, one of those games where you go back to the drawing board and see where it went wrong especially not being able to defend 260. We have to sum up the conditions and come up with better ideas. It is brilliant to see him (Narine) go out there and strike the ball, hopefully he keeps continuing with such performances.
