Adidas, the official kit sponsors of Team India, is about to unveil the highly anticipated India cricket World Cup jersey. Cricket fans and enthusiasts of the Men in Blue can watch the event on Adidas’ official YouTube channel at 7:30 PM today.

In a special tribute to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, hosted in India, Adidas has given the traditional ODI jersey a remarkable makeover. The iconic three white stripes on the shoulders have been replaced by the vibrant colors of the Indian tricolor.

Notably, the BCCI logo now prominently features two glittering stars, representing India’s historic ODI World Cup victories in 1983 and 2011. Adding an extra layer of excitement to this cricketing event, Adidas has partnered with Indian rap sensation Raftaar to create a special World Cup song.

As part of this agreement, Adidas is committed to paying 65 lakh rupees for each match the Indian team plays. The annual expenditure under this arrangement is estimated at around 70 crore rupees, including royalties from merchandise sales.
