With wife and girlfriends now travelling with husbands more often, Anushka Sharma is often seen accompanying Team India skipper Virat Kohli during tours. The duo tied knots in 2017 in a private wedding in Italy. Considering the busy schedule, both of them hardly has got any quality time with each other.

However, Kohli and Anushka are still going strong as the duo keep surprising each other on sets or during Team India’s international assignments. The actor-cum-producer has time and again cheered Virat Kohli from the stands. It also seems that the best comes out from the talismanic run-scorer when his lady is present in the audience.

Kohli-Anushka spending quality time in Mumbai

Meanwhile, during the lockdown, Kohli and Anushka have spent a lot of time together. Both of them acknowledged that it brought a new dimension to their relationship. During a recent chat with Vogue, Anushka Sharma mentioned how she strives hard to spend time with her husband Kohli during India’s tours.

“People assume when I’m visiting Virat or when he is visiting me that it’s a holiday, but it’s really not. One person is always working. In fact, during the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 days together. Yes, I actually calculated. So, when I visit him overseas, it’s to squeeze in that one meal together. It’s a precious time for us,” wife of Virat Kohli said. 

Incidentally, Anushka Sharma has also faced the wrath of the faces time and again when Virat Kohli had failed to produce quality innings. The talented actor was present during the ICC World Cup last year in England.

Currently, both of them are residing in their Mumbai residence. While Kohli is sweating it hard in the makeshift gym at home, Anushka Sharma is enjoying her success with web series Paatal Lok and Bulbul.
