IPL 2024 to be completely held in India

The Indian Premier League released the schedule for the first phase of the 2024 edition last month. There were speculations that the tournament’s second phase would be held overseas as it clashes with the Indian General Elections. However, Jay Shah has put an end to those speculations. The tournament will be completely held in India.

The first phase kicks off on Friday, March 22 and will feature 21 matches. It will host four double-headers. Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals will play two home games in Vizag during the phase. The roster for the remaining games will be announced soon by the Indian Premier League Governing Council.
