Pakistan’s debutant Ashad Iqbal made an instant impact when he broke a helmet with his vicious bouncer. In the second T20I between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, Iqbal bowled a bouncer which a mess of the helmet of the batsman. Zimbabwe opener Tinashe Kamunhukamwe was looking to play a release shot by charging down the track.

Zimbabwe had a very slow start to their innings and Kamunhukamwe was aiming to dominate Arshad Iqbal. In the second ball of the 7th over the Zim batsman came charging down the target and completely missed the bouncer. Iqbal saw the charge of the batsman early and dragged his length back and executed a well-directed short delivery.

The bouncer hit the helmet Kamunhukamwe and broke it into two halves. The protected layer of the helmet went flying as the Pakistan side came rushing to check on Kamunhukamwe. The batsman gave them a thumbs up and realised that his helmet has been completely broken. Luckily Kamunhukamwe was alright and he continued batting.

Zimbabwe defeats Pakistan 

Meanwhile, it turned out to be a memorable match for Zimbabwe as they defeated Pakistan and levelled the series. It was their first victory against a full ICC test playing nation after 2016. Batting first they only managed 118 runs but Pakistan made a mess of it in the run chase.

The strong Pakistan side choked under pressure and was all-out for just 99 runs. Babar Azam got very little support as they kept losing wickets at crucial stages of the match. The final T20I will be played tomorrow and Zimbabwe will look to create history by winning on their home turf.
