Australia and England face off each other in the second Ashes 2021-22 Test in Adelaide starting from December 16. This will be a Pink-Ball Test match, the first of the two day-night games. The final Test in Hobart will be the other day-night Test in the series. The Aussies head into this match leading the series 1-0 with plenty of work to do for England. 

A loss in this Test match for England will peg them back in the Test series. It will be almost impossible to bounce back from a 0-2 scoreline. There are huge concerns over the batting form of the England batters barring skipper Joe Root. Their opening combination looks shaky and despite batting deep till number 8, the visitors lack batsmen who can occupy the crease for longer periods of time.

The Pink-Ball test will offer a completely different challenge to both teams. It will swing more in the air and off the pitch under lights. While the Aussies at home will be comfortable, England need to sort out their batting woes heading into the contest. Adelaide historically has been a batting wicket and is expected to remain true to its nature.
